Down below, the square lights up: storytellers, snake charmers, smoke from the food stalls. Up here, our musicians take over for a proper Moroccan evening.
A second-floor terrace looking over Jemaa el Fna, the souks and, on clear days, the Atlas. You'll meet Marrakech families as often as travellers.
Gnawa on Thursdays and Saturdays: guembri, qraqeb castanets and trance rhythms. Lâabat on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays: women singers and tambourines that get the whole terrace dancing.
